I’m looking for recommendations for an affordable photographer and florist for my June 21, 2013 wedding. Here’s what I need:
-Budget around $1000
-Only need a few hours of coverage (4-5)
-Only need one photographer
-Don’t need extras (engagement shoot, albums, etc)
-Friday, daytime wedding
-Budget around $1,000
-Not sure what I can make happen within my budget, would be willing to DIY most decorations but will need bouquets at least.
We are getting married in Lincoln Park, would prefer local vendors but willing to make anything work as long as it is in budget! Thanks in advance for your recommendatiosn!

Without knowing specifics of what you want, the number of bridesmaids, etc, your floral budget is on target for getting personal flowers designed by a florist. As you probably know, there are many florists in and around Chicago, and I would recommend you take a look at our websites to get a feel for our different design styles, check out online reviews (on WW, etc.), look at experience, minimums, if any, etc., and then meet with a few florists (3, perhaps). You want to feel confidence in your florist, that she understand what you want, that she’s responsive, communicates well, and will work with your budget. Enjoy the process of looking at photos of gorgeous flowers while you work with a florist to select what will best meet your expectations and budget.

for Flowers – talk to Asrai Garden and Ashland Addison Florist. We used Asrai, but Ashland was a close second. Both are willing to work within budgets and I found them easy to work with. Talk to them about what you’d like and they’ll tell you what they can do.
