I would stay on the north Michigan avenue. I’ve stayed at the double tree in the mag mile.  It is a nice hotel and usually a great price.

@Bri1o:  If you’re staying over a Sunday, be sure to have your Sunday brunch at Angelina’s on Broadway and Addison. It’s in the Lakeview neighborhood of chicago, and several blocks from Wrigley Field. They have a great champagne brunch for $21 you get an item off the menu and unlimited champagne cocktails.

Let me say this again, so you can understand and appreciate what I just said: $21 for an item off the menu and unlimited champagne cocktails

The food is delicious and it’s a true neighborhood joint. If you can swing it, go to a Cubs home game after brunch (depending on what time of year you’ll be in Chicago).

It’s a great place that I always bring my out-of-town guests to, and they end up LOVING. Have a great time!
