@Orchd12:  I had an acquaintance from HS use a company called Vanilla Video. I think they’re based out of the suburbs but they are *very* affordable.

Without looking at any online reviews, Vanilla Video looks pretty good!  I’d also recommend asking your photographer to see if they have any suggestions – maybe they can give you the names of videographers they’ve worked with or people they’ve met through industry functions.

Yeah, I saw her video and it was really cute. It was the first time that I started considering a videographer 🙂 Plus, if they’re that affordable, why not?? 😀

I’d look really closely at their pricing. It’s for one videographer with no edit on your video. They give you shorter clips but they aren’t edited. What they are showing you for edited clips are what they call a ” montage”. Which each cost an additional $300/ per. Also, to get a good edited video like they are showing you on their example clips will take 2-3 videographers. So to get what you are seeing,  for an average 6 hours of video coverage, realistically the bill is going to come to more like thousands. It’s also a little creepy how impersonal it is. But if you just want an unedited ” here’s what happened” video for cheap it may work. Get referrals!

Following up here because I’m considering Vanilla Video. Has anyone used them?
