Simple, super easy to set up, light weight.  The legs are so easy to attach, just click them in!

We will keep this by our bed when baby is born.

We bought the Fisher price one.  still waiting on baby to use it in our bedroom the first few months, but very easy to setup.  Hopefully will be using any day now.

We bought the FP portable bassient but we haven’t set it up yet, so I can’t give my opinion yet, lol. Curious what others think.

Also, our FP one has mesh sides, better for air circulation.  its summer here and quite warm.

rittenhousenewbee:  Yes, very.  The bottom of the legs is plastic, not rubber, so I’d definitely suggest it on carpet.  But I am very impressed by it.

We have the Fisher Price bassinet and intended on using it in our room for the first few months after Dear Daughter was born. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and you can rock it, which I liked. Unfortunately Dear Daughter hated being placed in there, so we only used it a handful of times. For what it’s worth, it had nothing to do with that – she just hated being placed on her back and really wouldn’t sleep anywhere except next to me for the first few months.

We still have it packed away and will probably try it again with baby #2 someday.

rittenhousenewbee:  very sturdy, easy to setup, and I can see him wiggling through the sides.  baby has been sleeping in it a week and I’m very happy vwith it.
