I think it’s impossible to vote on this without trying the caterer’s exact version and choosing which one they make best. You may be a marsala fan but hate the caterer’s version, or vice versa.

I’d probably go for marsala but really neither are crowd pleasers.

Marsala is one of my favorite dishes. I’m also not a big fan of capers, so piccata Isn’t my cup of tea.

Chicken marsala! But that’s what we are doing so I’m a little biased.

@cjzhang:  Capers are the devil. My vote is for marsala.

Ha!  I ordered Chicken Piccata last night at an excellent Italian restaurant!  Definitely piccata!

I love both, but I know many people who don’t like mushrooms. More people dislike mushrooms then capers, and capers aren’t as huge a component of the dish like mushrooms are.

Piccata!!  Capers are so easy to avoid, and they aren’t the main focus of the dish anyway.  With marsala though, it’s basically just mushrooms.  I don’t like mushrooms or capers, but I love chicken piccata.  Just scrape the capers to the side!

This is so funny! We had both Chicken Picatta AND Chicken Marsala. We ordered the sauces on the side so everyone could pick. 🙂
