I’ve got awhile until my wedding, but I was wondering of giving these little things as wedding favors. So far I’ve completed about 30 from two weeks ago.
It’s glued to a hair clip / pin backing and thought it’d be nice to clip it to a tag saying something like…
Sewn and handmade by the bride
With the happiness and love from the groom
(Or because he can’t sew)
J & K
I thought it’ dbe really cool for all our guests to wear it. Any thoughts if this would fly? Or should I leave it for decor?

I am confused at what the point of these would be. To wear on their clothes? In their hair? I probably wouldnt recommend them as a favor either way.

While I think they are cute, I would probably leave them behind as they aren’t something I could see myself using or wearing.

They’re very cute, but I agree with the pp. I would be confused about their purpose, especially if I were a guy. Maybe if you wanted to place a basket of them by the guestbook for people to wear if they would like, but not as a favor.

why would you give these as favours? i am not sure everyone will appreciate them and the effort put into them.

I was thinking instead of guests bouts the men can wear them, as well as females if they wish to do so. I remember wearing rose corsages to all of my family’s weddings and thought perhaps this would be a cheaper and more unique alternative.
We’re not having a wedding party but I still want something cohesive.
But as favors these wouldn’t seem viable? Maybe as a “wear if you’d like” option?

@mireisen: If your family does bout then go for it.

Oh, I’ve never heard of anyone doing bouts for guests, but if most of your guests/family understand the tradition behind it then I would go for it!

I don’t think it is a good favor, but they are darn cute- and would look great as bouts for your bridal party etc.
