I’d prefer silk chiffon because it is light and breezy
Silk Chiffon. In general I try to avoid shiny fabrics, they highlight every bump.
I think it depends on the date of the wedding and where you live as to the fabrics that would be better. I like both.
I vote for chiffon. It’s very comfortable. I also don’t like shiny fabrics.
If your wedding is in Nov I vote for the traffeta bc it’ll be warmer
Although the Chiffon is lovely, I much prefer the Taffeta. The chiffon always looks like a nightgown to me, and more casual than formal.
I think for Fall, Taffeta will be more appropriate and depending on the material of your dress too in my opinon!
Taffeta! I had my BMs try on a chiffon dress. It tended to highlight their pudge.
Taffeta, for me. I love the look of chiffon, but I can’t wear it. It just clings to the wrong places, and can look like a nightgown or ballet costume.
I usually prefer chiffon, but I’m liking the look of that taffetta dress as long as it isn’t too shiny. That’s my only gripe about taffetta.
Tafetta looks so much dressier and more formal than chiffon. I guess its a matter of personal preference I would choose tafetta over chiffon anyday. Also chiffon is so floaty and not flattering to all body types..
I am a huge fan of chiffon normally. I think it depends on the season and location of your wedding though. Is it still warm in Nov where you live? Indoor or outdoor wedding? If its an indoor fall wedding with semi cold temps I would think the tafetta would work better. It tends to look a bit more formal too. My girls are in chiffon but I’m having an outdoor summer wedding, more casual than formal. Also what material would look better next to your dress?
you do not have an other
I would do chiffon if daytime and taffeta at night given the examples you posted
thanks for the input ladies. in charleston sc in november it won’t be cold, but it’ll be cooler. we’re having a 5pm garden ceremony and definitely aiming for a more formal look. i think i’m leaning more towards the taffeta though.
