Hello there, just wanted to share our kids activity books. We are having an adult reception but will have our two flower girls and two ring bearers at the reception as an exception to the no kids rule. For these four we decided to make small activity/coloring books to keep them busy at dinner. They will be given these inside a plastic children’s mason jar sippy cup (to go with our mason jar theme), with a small pack of crayons at their place setting!
We made these booklets out of postcard size precut white cardstock. I bought a pack with 25 sheets for $3 and we used a template on word to make sure our images/text would fit. I want to make it clear that our booklets were heavily inspired by the diy printable from lovelyindeed.com linked here: http://lovelyindeed.com/diy-activity-book-free-printable/
But because we wanted ours to be smaller (to fit in the cup) and thicker (to withstand a beating from a two year old), we modified the designs. For our flower girls, 9 and 10, we did a design your own cake, tic tac toe, and coloring page of the just married car. For our ring bearers, both two, we did all coloring pages of the cake, the rings, and the getaway car. We also fit them to our color scheme of navy and yellow. We stamped the pennant banner on with a stamp purchased from etsy.
Here they are!
