All white is actually really fantastic for food presentation 🙂 I own an entire set that I use quite often. I have another set too that has a design, but I rarely ever use it.

Maybe you should try googling china patterns find what you like and then figure out where they sell it. I know Macy’s actually can order more than what they show in the stores or online.

Good luck and happy china hunting!

I know exactly how you feel! I’ve finally narrowed down my fine china choice (Vera Wang’s “Golden Grosgrain” combined with RCD’s “Darley Abbey”), but still troubled by the everyday choice.

As for other stores that you could check out online: Dillards, Bloomingdales, Crate&Barrel…

And you can of course also go to the big china manufacturers themselves: Lenox, Wedgwood, Villeroy&Boch, Rosenthal, Royal Doulton, Bernardaud, Royal Crown Derby etc etc. If you just want a cheap everyday choice, you can also take a look at Corelle designs. They actually have quite nice designs and for what they cost, I wouldn’t mind having a set for BBQs etc.

What kind of china are you hoping to get? Some color? All color? Interesting pattern? Gold/platinum? Decorations only on the rim? Something with a textured pattern? I’ve spent so many hours pouring over the sites, maybe I can come up with some suggestions…
