I think I prefer the first one. Still, I would wait to see what else you get before you make any decisions.

I would wait and I too prefer the first picture.

I like the first choice better.  I would wait because people may end up buying the dishes as a wedding present or giving you cash so you can do so.  You may even get giftcards.  I wouldn’t settle — the second option is pretty still but the first one, from Pottery Barn, is super nice.

I would wait, but I may be biased, as we registered for the Pottery Barn dinnerware 🙂  Someone got us the sets, but none of the serverware yet, so I would wait, you never know!

Wait until after the wedding. You can end up with the set you love from Pottery BRan, whether you get it as a gift, or use gift cards or cash to purchase it yourselves.

The Macy’s set is nice, but I would want my serving pieces to match.

I would definitely wait too.  I would also return the second and put that towards the first.  The second kind of looks like if you turned paper plates into pottery.

@LaurenKK:  I don’t think she can do that since the 2nd set is from Macy’s and the 1st set is from Pottery Barn.

Worst case scenario, you return the set to Macy’s and sell the gift card you get on Ebay and use that money for the Pottery Barn set??  I would wait until after the wedding though.  Macys has those return stickers and I believe you can return whenever, so you have time!

I like the first set, the beading around the edges is exquisite! I don’t like the second set at all, like @LaurenKK:  said, it looks like paper plates turned ceramic!

I would wait until after the wedding and if no one bought them, I would buy them with the cash recieved, if any.

@futuremrsk18:  They don’t give you cash if you return something?  That’s obnoxious.

Did you register for the set from Macy’s? I may have missed that, but I’m just curious.  You should wait becuase you still get the set you like PLUS you  could always ask for the set you like as future christmas gifts, etc.
