If you search this site for “China replica dresses” there’s lots of threads that’ll come up. Hopefully, you’ll get some helpful information from them.

What I would say is that I suspect the quality of a £96 dress is likely to reflect the price.

I had a china dress for our destination wedding. I wasn’t expecting for a very high quality for that price ($134) but it was absolutely ok!

I went the china route. I spent less than 500 for my own dress — issues: the lace details weren’t placed really where I wanted/how I wanted — it wasn’t as boned as I’d have liked, I had to have a local seamstress really redo the top /corset because it was seriously too big (and I had my measurements done by the same seamstress AND I subtracted from everything but the length and my arm size) … it didn’t have as much underskirt – was promised a petticoat and didnt get and when i got it wasnt plus sized but i used ebay for a hoop and liked it but I now wish I had gotten a regular poof petticoat .. it was stressful to trust but i got what i wanted (sleeves) in the color I wanted (non white) and honestly I *am* glad I did it. make sure you have a back up seamstress if you need help.
