Hi Ladies,
I need help looking for a nice tea set – anyone know where I can look for a nice and reasonably priced one?
I found this picture on a forum from another bride and I LOVE it since my theme colour is pink, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere… HELP!

Did you check out Etsy and Ebay?

I found the tea set you’re looking for. However, according to the website, they’re out of stock.

@cutexkitty: Awww thanks! Too bad they’re out of stock! What currency is RM though?
It doesn’t have to be pink… I just want a nice one that’s not too tacky!

Asian grocery stories usually have a bunch. I would also check Asian gift shops. That’s where I found almost all our tea ceremony goods.

@iHeartSC: I believe RM is Malaysian Ringgit. I also agree with hotwings that they have tea sets in Asian groceries and gift shops. Also, when I Google under shopping for “Chinese tea set” a bunch of results came up.

Pearlriver.com is a good resource if you can’t find anything local. they don’t have anything as pretty as the one you have pictured though.

I see your in Toronto, so i would highly suggest Chinatown or Pacific Mall. There’s a Ten Ren store in Chinatown that has great sets. Alot of the smaller stores that sell china ie. Tap Phong in Chinatown also sell tea sets.
If you have time i’d just spend an hour or two wandering into the stores that sell china and they usually sell tea sets.

I would highly suggest Pacific Mall. They may not have the exact same tea set, but I bet you could find a similar one and the price probably would be reasonable too!

My daughter works for teavana.com and they have really nice tea sets there.

Actually, the girl who had the set that I liked got it at Pacific Mall… I went to the exact store and they don’t have it anymore. They only had those really heavily red/gold designed ones. I guess I’ll just have to keep looking… I was hoping to be lazy and just find something online though – it’s FREEEEEEEEEEZING outside! :$

I did a Google search for the Chinese characters next to the sku number on the page where you found them sold out. Then I clicked on images on the left hand side to skip only to the pages that I wanted.
I found this: http://www.ericsoo.com/redirect.php?fid=258&tid=200534&goto=nextoldset
I did not get so far as to figure out how to order from them. But there is an email address on the picture. Seems like a good place to start.
Hope that helps!
My daughter would love to have one of those. I may have to get her one for her birthday. I wish I had thought of it for Christmas!
