WestCoastV:  Agreed.  I actually find Chipotle to be pretty bland without any add-ons.

I voted yes until I realized you were asking if we disagreed with it. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

We didn’t have it for our reception, but we had it for the rehearsal dinner. It was a HIT! My dad still talks about it 2 years later (The closest Chipotle is 45 minutes away-he won’t drive that far to get it lol). Some of the older people didn’t seem to “get” it but oh well. I say go for it!!

We have a similar restaurant here and while we were eating there today I asked SO if we could just have them cater our wedding!  So I say GO FOR IT!!!

WestCoastV:  Personally there are not a lot of foods I can eat for my particular illness. Experience has taught me to stick with what I know works. There are is LOT of food I can’t handle.

Sounds fun but I would think it’s a bit weird for a wedding. Sounds fun for the rehearsal dinner though! ๐Ÿ™‚

winterwedding17:  I love the concept, but given all the food poisoning I’m steering clear of chipotle so I wouldn’t be too impressed. But literally ANY OTHER burrito chain I’d be down for!

I think it depends on the style of wedding you’re having. Casual backyard bbq style? Great. Bride in a 3k gown, towering floral centerpieces, uplighting, etc? Might be kind of weird.

My Fiance probably wishes we were having Chipotle at our wedding, lol. It’s yummy, but aside from the food safety issue that other bees brought up, the only thing I would say is that it will seem a little incongruous if your wedding is fancy in other respects. I would keep everything at the same level of formality, so if you’re serving Chipotle, make it a casual event overall.

Chipotle caters? I think my baby shower is now planned! ๐Ÿ™‚

Personally I’d be happy to eat chipotle at a wedding, even a fancy one!

I fucking LOVE Chipotle,  and would vastly prefer that to a lot of the banquet hall food I’ve had at past weddings.
