My body and Chipotle do NOT mix! If you had the salsa chips I would just eat them the entire time.

I kind of like Chipotle. But not for a wedding.

I used to *love* chipotle’s food as well as their ideology about food, but after all the cases of MAJOR food-borne illnesses that were all traced back to several chipotle’s in Boston, I would not eat it, personally.

As long as they had those delicious tortilla chips that I can have with my burrito bowl, I’d be all for it! The only thing that I would say is what other bees have mentioned, don’t have me in black tie attire in a ballroom eating chipotle. The vibe needs to be more casual.

I wanted Qdoba actually for my reception. I love their tortilla soup and I love their queso. I think catering gets a bad rep but if I could have found a reception area to serve it in I totally would have gone with this.

I want to add most wedding food is bad and people end up stopping on the way home to pick up fast food anyway. This way you get good food and no one stops at Taco Bell.

Chipotle has so much bad press now regarding food poisoning. Many may be afaid to eat it. I would look into Qdoba.Similar product without the negativity.

winterwedding17:  I didnt vote in the poll because as a guest, no I wouldn’t look down in it but I do feel like there must be some other inexpensive catering options that might work better. Chipotle is so heavy and kinda messy. I guess it also depends on your venue… ?

I think it beats the hell out of chicken/potato/veg. Just don’t advertise up front that it’s Chipotle…let everyone tell you how wonderful the food was first.

I would love to eat chipotle any time but I do think that tacos/other hand foods do lens themselves to more of a casual atmosphere of general.  For example it would be a bit awkward to have everyone dress formally but then be eating tacos with their hands.  I would say if you’re going for more of a laid-back feel overall, go for it!

We had a very carnivorous bbq place cater our rehearsal dinner (like all the sides except the Cole slaw had meat).  I have some vegetarian friends so I got 10 or so veggie meals from Chipotle. And some of my meat eater guests snagged those to eat with their bbq. And the veg folks were so excited about the chipotle
