I make these all the time and everyone LOVES them–I mean, yum! I would definitely go with the big ones. When I do the big ones, I melt the choco in a dish/double boiler and do quite a lot at once, and then pour into a tall highball style glass, and tilt the glass to one side, and roll the sticks in the choco–so much easier than trying to get it up all the way the stick!

Sounds yummy and would be a great favor!  My only suggestion would be do to a trial way ahead of time.  A friend made these for her fellow teachers for Christmas and they turned out really lumpy, clumpy.  I’m not sure how they get them so smooth and pretty, but I’m sure you can do it!
