Well, I’m just going to throw out there that if the dresses don’t match the color of the suits pretty closely, it might look a little weird–especially if chocolate is only one of your colors! I’d go for gray or black or possibly linen suits if it’s a daytime wedding, and put a colored shirt or vest and tie underneath it! Good luck!

I second the linen suits…I think they would look good with the chocolate. what are your wedding colors?

I did cinnamon dresses and chocolate tuxes.  It was a good combo.  I agree that too much brown might be a lot, but I have seen it done before!

yes, I do believe that all of the chocolate would be too much. Give us more details on the wedding, like time of day formality, etc so that we can better give suggestions.

We’re doing chocolate tux and mocha Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses… I had originally wanted the chocolate dresses for the girls too but it was too much. Here’s what it looks like:

Although the guys will be in a deep burnt orange vest/tie and dads will be in chocolate on chocolate. But you get the idea!

We’re doing chocolate dresses and black suits because having both brown seemed a bit much and the guys wanted to be able to re-wear their suits after the wedding.

Ugh, I have this same problem. I agree with doing a tan on the suits or something instead.
