Hey bees, I am doing a chocolate fountain instead of a cake. My Fiance and I don’t like cake at all, and a dessert is already being served with our dinner, so we decided to do a choc fountain. My mom still insists on buying us a “cake topper” and she was hoping we could still find a spot for it on or near the fountain. What do you guys think? Will it look silly??

It will be tough for it to go on top of the fountain. There is an auger that spins to “push” the chocolate up the center tube. Can you hang it from the ceiling with fishing line so it “floats” above the fountain?
Go for white chocolate. It will really look like a wedding cake .
We’re doing a fountain too. It only makes sens since I own a chocoate business. Here’s a tip. Use food grade cocoa butter to thin your chocolate. It gives a really nice consistency without giving that oily taste to the chocolate. Don’t use really juicy fruits slices because it will seize the chocolate.

If you add some candles and decor beside your foutain, the topper should look very nice!
