I think you are making a great choice by selling your dress to save your dog. Dogs love you unconditionally, and would do anything to make you happy. Wouldn’t you want to do the same for them? It’s just a dress, after all.

I think OP was trying to say that she has helped her parents out financially in the passed. This is a high stress situation and she isn’t getting support back. That is how I read it anyway.

I think that “Kerauno” came up with an amazing option – ask your Vet about finance options. I know it costs more in the long run, but you can help your puppy now (I do think that trying to sell something will take longer than you think unless you sell at a huge discount, which might not help puppy as much as needed).
Have you considered complaining about the service at the first Vet and asking for a refund or at least part refund to help?
What about a personal loan from the Bank? Again interest but it will work.. now!
