So I have a predicament I love love love the side veiw of my Engagement Ring but I cannot find a band that will look good with my ring AND show my side view, I was starting to think I would just get a thin plan band, which I never really wanted 🙁 Then I came across this enhancer, from the top it looks awesome, I love the way it looks with my ring, it is so beautiful but if I get it then I will loose my side veiw 🙁 So my question is should I give up the side veiw and buy the enhancer or keep trying to find something that I like from the top but doesn’t cover my side veiw? I’m litterally split 50/50 on this.
Here is the side of my ring
Here is the top of my ring
This is the enhancer by itself
And here are the rings photoshopped together, not the best picture but it’s all I got for now and just take my word that they look stunning together in person (my camera was dead when I was at the store 🙁 I know I suck)

IMO i would give up the side view.. But if you REALLY dont wanna do that, you can go the custom route..

Girl give up the side view and do it!

I would totally give up the side view. Those rings were made for each other!! And get back to that store for a real pic. You know we’re all ring porn ho’s.

If you’re not planning on getting them soldered together then there’s no problem. When you want side-view, just wear your e-ring alone for a day or so.

For full disclosure, I really don’t care for enhancers.
Find a low profile, plain wedding band to match your ring. I love the intricate details at the side; it’d be a shame to cover it up.

Go the custom route, then you can keep one side view and build a gorgeous wedding ring! Best of the both worlds that you like. Especially if you love the side view so much and you don’t want to get rid of it. My custom ring is cheaper than buying it from a jewelery store.

Have you considered switching your ering to your right hand, and getting whatever wedding ring you want?

@alyssaC: That’s the most beautiful side view ever!! You can’t cover that up! I agree with pp. Do something custom that’s low profile as to not cover up your side view.

I had to give up my side view! I have two fleur-de-lis on the sides of my Engagement Ring. I can still see one side, since i have 1 band, but you won’t miss it. 🙂

I have another idea: instead of an enhancer, get one single wedding band, and wear it on the “other” side of your ring (instead of it being “closer to your heart” have it be on the other side). that way you can have a wedding band and still be able to look down at your e-ring and enjoy the side details.

@Mrs Canuck: Haha Sorry! I just went for a cleaning and the lady was all like hey come look at these awesome enhancers! And I was like ooooo pretty lol. Then went to grab my camera and was like the bees will not be happy with me 🙁 HAHA
QUESTION: Bees who went the custom route, how much did it cost you???? Fiance and I were really hoping to keep it under a $1000 and everyone I’ve talked to around here payed so much more for custom rings and I would really like some diamonds on it and that will just add to the price.
