We are from Washington, DC but we are shopping around looking all over — mainly at Baltimore through Havre de Grace Maryland venues. So far have come across two well-reviewed caterers in the Baltimore -ish area – Dean & Brown and Zeffert and Gold, and they seem to cater at mostly the same historic mansions. After carefully reviewing their quotes it looks like they are coming out at around the same price per person (after throwing in all the fees, etc) Does anyone have any experiences with these two? Which are more flexible and more helpful or have better food? Has anyone had luck doing tastings before booking? Everyone seems to want you to book first and then taste!!
