I’m getting married in socal in February. Weather here is REALLY unpredictable at times. For instance, when I booked my venue in January of 2011, it was 72 degrees out, sunny, and gorgeous. In May, when Fiance graduated law school, it was 50-60’s and soooo windy. Then there is the “June Gloom”.

Because we knew weather is never a guarantee (even in socal), we went with February and got a ridiculously cheap deal. We are having an outside ceremony but with an indoor back up written into our contract.

Also, being engaged for 15 months (about 7 months into it) has been driving me crazy. I don’t know your personality but I’m a total type-A, needs to plan everything in advance, inpatient, control freak (but loveable as well…?) so the waiting has really stressed me out. I keep second guessing my choices and wondering if I should add _______ even though I didn’t budget for it because it’s cute and on sale and I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS!
