    kimi2490:  WOW…those sleeves…I’m speechless!!!!  This is amazing!!!

Have you tried the dress on or seen it in person yet?  That will determine a lot!

Hmm, the dress is pretty but that is going to be hot.  I got married in Cabo in April and I would not have been able to stand the sleeves on me.  That being said, I don’t think you have to go casual because your groom is or because you are having a DW.

kimi2490:  That dress is stunning and couldn’t be any more “bridal”.

kimi2490:  It was about 85 F the day of the wedding…I’m not sure what that is in Celsius, I guess 30C?

Very pretty dress! Do you mind sharing where you found it?

Also I think it depends on what kind of heat you are dealing with. If its humid, then the sleeves will probably be annoying but if its dry heat with the cool breeze of the ocean, I think it would be fine. Personally I would keep it exactly the same. The skirt looks lightweight. The deatilaing is gorgeous.

You could always alter the sleeves and make it sleeveless or a flutter sleeve so you can be more “aired out” in the armpit area lol

I think you will be fine in that dress in the heat, warm, but manageble. It looks pretty bridal to me, especially picturing it with a veil. Are you just worried that you will regret not wearing a poofy wedding dress? Have you tried any on? I had similar thoughts and tried on a medium sized dress in terms of poof – I did not like it on me. I would suggest going to a bridal store and just telling them you are starting to look and would like to try ona few different sillouettes. That should give you an idea of what you feel good in.

Would you be wearing cultural clothing during your other ceremony or could you wear the big dress then?

Have fun trying on dresses! I know it is hard, I’ve been completely overthinking things just because it’s my wedding day.

That skirt will look beautiful in photos outdoors, especially with a longer veil! But if it doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t feel right.
