    @feministbride: I voted choose both! Of course, I’m biased, as I’ve asked two friends to be co-maids of honor in my wedding 🙂

    there is no such thing as tit-for-tat in the wedding world. If you have a ridiculously close relationship with your cousin & feel like that won’t change or grow distant through the planning process then I would say go for it.

    If you want to do 2 MOHs you can do that too.

    I voted for both. Since your BFF is married, she can be your matron of honor. If your cousin is unmarried, she can be your maid of honor. To answer your last question, it wouldn’t be lame or awkward to have two MOHs (one maid and one matron) along with two bridesmaids. Problem solved! 😉
