My fiance and I have decided to switch our hollywood glam theme to a shabby chic theme to (try to cut costs). We’ll be doing a lot of burlap and lace.
Which of the invitiation designs do you think is prettiest? (I realize the second one is a bridal shower invite, but they can customize it into a wedding invitation). I like that the second one incorporates the color pink, but I’m worried it may be to casual looking for a wedding. Opinons Anyone? If y’all know of any other invites you think I might like please send them my way- thanks!

I love the first invite. My personal feeling is that the second one is too busy for my taste.

First one is more classier than the 2nd. As you said, the 2nd is too casual. You could still add pink into the first one.

There’s just too much going on in the second invitation, I don’t know what to look at! The first one is lovely though, classy and well balanced.
If you want to incorporate pink, how about using a pink envelope? You could even line it with white or beige to tie in with the invitation.

I like the first one. If you like the pop of pink in the 2nd one, you could always use pink envelopes or inserts to add some more color to the first one.

I guess it depends the mood of the wedding.
For our wedding, 2 would be perfect, as 1 would be too formal. So neither is right or wrong in that aspect. Are you thinking 2 is too formal for A wedding, or for YOUR wedding? Because if you’re having a burlap shabby-chic theme then I wouldn’t automatically think ‘super formal’ and so 2 would be perfect!

I like the simplicity of #1. I think #2 has too much going on

I love the look of the 2nd one better. I think my taste leans more toward a casual wedding. Love the pink and lace – it just has so much more personality than the first one. The first one feels too “blah” in my opinion.

I love the second – the burlap texture adds the right amount of shabby and the pink font and lace add the chic. If you want it to look less busy have less words. The first is kind of plain, it has the chic but no shabby whatsoever.
