We aren’t having dancing at our wedding but we will have some background music playing..it is a country/rustic wedding and i grew up to tx country music, my Fiance although hes not cowboy or anything loves country music as well…i wanted to mainly country music, old and new, tx country and not…would it be too bland to play all of one genre of music you think?

I think so. I really hate saying that too! I would do 100% country music if I could! At this part, you have to think of what your guests would like to hear. Our DJ said that there needs to be variety, or people get bored, or generally don’t have a good time if there isn’t a little something for everyone. (I was so bummed! I want every single song to be country!)

@lizbethamber: You should shake it up a bit. Mix in some classics with your beloved country. There are some GREAT country love songs that could end up leading into a change of pace with an older classic. I’m doing a lot of Sinatra/Michael Buble/Dean Martin, but I’d be heartbroken without my Goo Goo Dolls 🙂 And I plan on throwing in a little country myself. I kinda have to, lol, living in Georgia and all.
ETA: I totally didn’t see your wedding date until after I posted… oops. Please forgive this mistake 🙂 Oh, andcongratulatons on your wedding! lol
