roxannemorris5 :  i just bought new pillows from Coop Home Goods. They are fully customizable shredded memory foam (but new foam, not mattress scraps). You can add, remove, and mold the fill as necessary. I added fll to my pillow because I’m a side sleeper (they will send you extra fill for free), but stomach sleepers typically want a lower pillow, so you might want to remove some of your fill. They also have a 100-night testing/warranty period where you can use the pillow and return it if it’s not right for you.

Imo real down fill is superior to all other pillows, I sleep on my side or my stomach

Natural latex pillows are hands down, the best pillows I’ve ever used. Feels like you laid your head down on a bed of clouds.

Get a low profile if you’re a stomach sleeper.  I mostly sleep on my side so mine’s a bit higher.

nykkee :  I’ve owned SO MANY really expensive high quality down pillows – and they all do the same thing – deflated very quickly. They make great shams (super fluffy and look awesome), but I’ve yet to meet a down pillow that actually offers enough support for a side sleeper.

catskillsinjune :  I use 2, one on top of each other and tbh I fluff a few imes before falling asleep, but that’s also a cold side of the pillow thing, I just don’ find anything else as comfortabl, but it’s also what I grew up with, I had a down pillow my great gandmother made herself when I was little ❤

nykkee :  ah. Well you do you, but almost all sleep experts will say that if you need to use more than one pillow (for your head), then you’re not getting enough support and are using the wrong pillow.

I was a sleep exspert for 7 yrs at sleep country Canada.

If ur in Canada go to a sleep country and they will fit u for a pillow. They will have u lay on a bed similar firmness to urs at home. You will need a thin profile pillow. But depends on ur firmness of ur bed and ur body type. And how u actually sleep flat on ur belly or running man.

Also if ur going to invest in an high quality sleep products be sure to get a waterproof pillow protector.

Average adult sweats about a quarter cup of sweat per night plus dust mites and dead skin will also break now the make up of the pillow. ( Same with your mattress)

If u have any more questions let me know I can help guide u through the process.
