I am aiming towards an October ’13 wedding, but I’m sort of stuck on the colours.
I absolutely love light blue and ivory with accents of black, but those aren’t exactly fall colours, though I’m not really fond of oranges, browns, and yellows. I’m also a redhead so it may clash with my hair. 😐
I would just go with them, but I’m afraid that our families would think it was odd. FH really doesn’t care, lol.

I’m having a summer wedding and doing cobalt blue, white and silver….which are traditionally more winter colours…..but they’re for the Fiance (toronto maple leaf colours) and blue looks great on everyone!

Go with whatever you love, they don’t have to be fall colors. We are getting married October 6th and the colors are eggplant and apple green. It’s your one day to have whatever you want!

I’m having a fall wedding and we decided on more earthy tones. I hated the “festive” colors of fall like the reds oranges and yellows. My colors are truffle brown, apple green and ivory with accents of black.

I am having a July 2013 wedding and have changed my mind so many times. My only advice is don’t start buying stuff until your certain! and dont start buying stuff until you know what color your bridesmaids will wear, the shades could vary! I started with purple then went to coral. My bridesmaids dresses then only came in persimmon, which was a little darker than i planned. I know how favor bags and ribbon in a different color!
I am SO indecisive so it was the hardest decision for me!!!

Light blue, ivory, and black could easily be made Fall-ish with some nice dark green. It would be a stunning combo for a redhead, too.

Go with whatever you like, just because you’re having a fall wedding doesn’t mean you need to go with traditional fall colors. We’re doing navy, antique gold and ivory for our October 2012 wedding. I was originally going for a totally different color scheme, but our colors were largely determined by what color (navy) looked best on all my bridesmaids.

I had Turquoise and Sage for my September wedding. Do what you want! Who cares what the season is.

You don’t have to have fall colors…pick the colors you love. I’m October ’12 and my colors are blush pink and navy 🙂

Defintely just go with the colors you love!! It doesn’t matter what month it is. I think using Fall colors for a Fall wedding is overdone anyway!

Mine are pretty much the same as yours. But I want Navy with champange. My wedding is Sept 21, 2013. I think that you’ll be fine with those colors!! And if someone says something…who cares? lol

Thank you guys! This has really helped me. 🙂

@MrsSweetAndTangy: Sweetie, I had a red/green/silver/ivory wedding in JULY. If you love a colour combo run with it; season be damned.
Mmy only piece of practical advice would be to consider whether the colours go with the bones of your venue. Unless you have thebudget to completely transform the space this will save you a world of headaches.
If you want to make it a little more fall, consider using a dustier blue, and maybe hits of gold. Think about texture, and using heavier materials.

All these colors sound beautiful! I am having an October 2013 wedding and our colors are cranberry, charcoal gray, and a little black.
