My wedding is in September & I’m using orange, green, and ivory as my colors. If the teal stands out a lot I’d try & go with colors that don’t completely clash.. I think the champagne and burnt orange would look good with a dark teal.

I think the teal would look fine with any of the colors you mentioned.  Plum with deep orange as an accent would allow for not-outrageous bridesmaid dresses, as well as some GORGEOUS flowers (rich purple isn’t terribly easy to find, but orange is.)

@Zoie00: I’ve got this as you mentioned plum and champagne. I always wanted red but thought it would be too heavy for the Summer so I teamed it with Tiffany blue to make it bright for the Summer.

My colors are deep purple and burnt orange. I chose them without considering our venue (light, spring floral wallpaper – oops!) but I’m too stubborn to change so I’m hoping it doesn’t clash too bad. I think the teal would look great with those colors.

I think the teal, plum, and orange would be really awesome together! Bold, but kind of muted… I like it a lot!

What part of Ohio will you be getting married in, if you don’t mind me asking?

I like the idea of all three – plum, orange and champagne. I think using three or four colors is more interesting and sophisticated than trying to stick to two colors. Here’s a board I found for another bee that might give you an idea:

Yay!!! Another Fall Bride.  My colors are Eggplant purple, Burnt Orange with accents of Burgundy and Black.  About the teal on the wall I don’t think that will matter much, everyone will be looking at you anyway Smile  If you are worried about it though you could always buy tule in bulk and hang it on the walls to make a completely different setting.  Some websites that sell it in bulk for cheap are lacrafts.com and efavormart.com.  The only natural deep Purple flowers that I have found are Mums, Calla Lillies and violet hydrangeas that can be sprayed to make them darker.  Beautiful burnt orange calla lillies or terra cotta roses would look great too.  If you decide to go with artificial flowers you can check out afloral.com for high quality real touch flowers that come in all colors.  Happy wedding planning.
