@Stargaze31:  Can you share a picture? I am sure it’s better than you think 🙂

I think it’s STUNNING! But if you REALLY don’t like it, see if they’ll let you exchange it!

I think it’s so pretty!  I love the material of the skirt!

Its a beautiful dress, but if you’re worried, have them hold the order and go back in and try some more on now that you’re feeliing better. Try the style you had in mind and try on this dress again. Sometimes, we fall in love with a style we didn’t originally imagine, but it won’t hurt to double check if the bridal boutique will let you.

To be honest with you I really don’t think the skirt needs anything more. I think it perfectly balances out the beaded top, and it is flattering on your body type. I think that with a veil (which can have bling on it and be long so it also falls on the skirt), jewelry and dolled up makeup you’ll realize it isn’t too plain. Plus, you can also buy some rhinestones and have a seamstress scatter them throughout the skirt so you have a bit of shimmer when you walk.

@Stargaze31:  You can definitely get a blingy veil for a lot less than $600! Even look on Etsy and see what you can find. A lot of Etsy shop owners will customize for more bling for a lot less than $600!

Your dress is beautiful, but you need to be 100% happy and in love with it! Hopefully the store can hold your order, at least so you can go try on your dress plus a few others, and maybe that will put your mind at ease now that you’re feeling better. 🙂 Good luck!

+1 to PPs who said that beading can be added to the skirt if they can’t change the order, and also that that’s WAY too much for a veil. You can get replica veils made just like you can replica dresses, and they’re about $50 or so.

I think your dress looks beautiful on you!  I don’t think it’s plain at all – there’s pretty beading on the bodice, a flowy beautiful train… When you gather the whole look together with accessories and the shoes, you’ll change your mind 😉
