- Wedding: September 2011
I have 2 best friends who are my bridesmaids. One of them was Maid/Matron of Honor for the other, and now that I am getting married I didn’t want to choose one of them as my Maid/Matron of Honor for fear of putting the one who is still single, in a difficult positon to ‘have to choose me’ when her turn comes.
So in order to avoid that, I chose my aunt as my Maid/Matron of Honor (she is still young, married and has a lovely family, which has always inspired me to have my own).
But when thinking about that day, and when I have had issues with the wedding planning, she is the last one I talk to, I talk to my best friends or to another aunt who is like my 2nd mother.
When thinking about my pictures, I can’t imagine me and my best friends PLUS my aunt in a picture frame… so what do I do?
Do I name a second MOH? Do I give her a different role in the ceremony? or do I forget about it and keep myself to the thoughts that made me choose her in the 1st place?
thanks in advance for your advise!
