CT is actually a large state. are you considering to be on the shore? Is his family from a certain area?

hehe @ shay – CT is actually a small state with a ton of churches!  but you are right – the shoreline stretches from RI to NY, and there are so many places in between.

where in CT are you looking to get married? CT has cities, beaches, small country towns, etc. also, are you looking for a specific denomination?

in our case we belong to an absolutely amazing catholic church in hartford, st patrick’s st anthony’s.  they have a policy of ‘open minds, open hearts, open doors’ that they live by. it is historic and right downtown – but, we are getting married in a tiny, charming catholic church in pomfret (small rural town).

we can totally help you if you give us more details.

Here is a general list of CT churches that I found on Google. From my understanding, people that aren’t members are welcome to use the church to be married for a fee. Many churches require you to use their clergy and musicians (organists, cantors) and go through some counseling with the  minster/priest.
