I haven’t had a chance to own a pair (yet), but my sister owns a pair of their classic black pumps.  She has flat and narrow feet and wears heels constantly.  But even she said that it’s taking her a while to break them in.  So if you’re looking for comfort, I would look elsewhere.  My Cole Haan pumps on the other hand are divine.  I danced all night in them at a friend’s wedding and my feet were fine.

My Manolo’s are like walking on stilts with razor blades in them…dramatic I know…but it’s taking forever to break them in. Plus the fact that they’re 4 1/4″ high doesn’t help. But they’re worthit for how beautiful they are!! I would think Louboutins would be the same.

@Pilotsgirl09 : Oh don’t tell me that!!  I’m wearing the Something Blue pumps on my wedding day!!  I was really hoping they would be like walking on heaven.

My Louboutins kill me every.single.time. I only own one pair and I have retired them to my closet and haven’t worn them in over a year. Thinking about selling them on ebay….

I agree with miss truffle. Cole Haan shoes are very comfortable.

It is all what you are used to.  I would not expect someone that goes from flip-flops straight to Louboutin to find them comfortable in any way.  However, I wear crazy high heels often, and among those, I find Louboutin to be remarkably comfortable.

I have the CL Simple 85 pumps and find them no more or less comfortable than my other pumps.  Granted, they aren’t the usual heel height of his shoes but I like them very much.

I think every pair is a little different, some are great and others, not so much. If you’re used to wearing heels, just break them in and you should be fine! If not, maybe buy a second pair for dancing?

Whatever you decide – DON’T wear them for the first time on your wedding day. Break them in over the course of months. Seriously. You’ll regret it if you don’t!

I’ve only tried on Louboutin’s and I have to say, they’re REALLY narrow. I’m a bit wide over the bridge of my foot, but not wide enough to need wide width shoes or anything, but man, I could barely squeeze into those suckers! Ah well, it saved me a ton of money 😉

I’m with @Bakerella on that one — I don’t normally have issues with shoes fitting properly, but Louboutin’s, Manolo’s, and Jimmy Choo’s all feel very narrow on my feet.

It all has to do with you how comfortable with you are on heels and the design of the shoe. I love CLs and I only purchase shoes I can walk in — Jimmy’s are good, too. 🙂

@Chelseycm:Did you end up ordering from christianlaboutin.la??  I am considering ordering a pair of replica Manolos from there for my wedding, but I wonder how legit the website is.  I saw a post from a girl who ordered and never got her shoes.  Curious if you went ahead with it!
