It depends on the mailing deadlines for where you live and where you are sending them. Chances are it’s too late for this year.

zoraneale :  tomorrow would be good 🙂

Businesses have already upped their shipping costs to get things to you by Christmas. Next year, Cyber Monday would be a great way to get your custom Christmas cards for cheap and in a reasonable amount of time.

Well, I’ve been receiving cards over the course of the last three weeks or so.  If you’re in the U.S. and you’re not in a rural area and the cards are going to the immediate area, they might receive them Christmas Eve if you got them out first thing in the morning Friday.  I just got one today that was mailed yesterday (from within the state).

But if they are going out of state, I would send Happy New Year cards instead and try to get them out Monday at the latest.

I live abroad so send them late November and they tend to arrive any time between early Dec and Christmas depending on the post. Some people who send them to me are super worried about them being late so I got one in early Nov! And others don’t factor in the international posting times so I’m sure I’ll get some in Jan too.

We tend to send ours just before the last posting dates (or hand deliver as we see people) but next year I’m aiming to do it earlier.

We’re cutting down on the number of cards we send, but I don’t think we’d stop entirely.

Here they have to be sent by 12.12. Cause then you get a Christmas stamp discount. Those go in economy instead of priority mail but they will forsure make it before Christmas. They are put in a special envelope (all cards) so mail distribution  centre knows not to send them too early.

Well considering our photographer just sent us our pics last week, ours won’t be going out until this weekend 😂

Definitely not ideal, but it is what it is. They don’t refer to Christmas, they say happy holidays/new year.

As a recipient, I’m happy to get cards at any time during the season! It’s always nice to hear from friends/family around this time of year.

I’m sending ours today. It’s been a busy month and I was dedicated to getting our thank you notes out first, and we got a few late gifts this past weekend when we hosted a dinner. The out of state cards will arrive on 12/26, but I can’t imagine any of our family and friends will care.

I send a ton of cards, so I send them over a period of about 2 weeks as I finish them – usually around mid-December. I sent out our last batchabout a week ago, though we have a few yet to hand-deliver to people we are seeing this weekend.
