(Closed) Christmas Decorations in the Church

Do you belong to the church? If so, volunteer to be on the committee that decorates the church.

If not, you will just have to deal with it. Find out from the coordinator when the decorations go up, so you can see what they look like and make plans for a cover up if necessary.

If you can’t take the tree down, I would just have someone move it to an obscure corner where it won’t be in any pics. Hopefully it is small enough to do this.

@kiparker: Well maybe since it is on NYE and most churches take down decorations then anyway, voulenteer to take them all down and put back in storage?

@kiparker Wow…..You would think she would want to do less work! Of course the 1st is Sunday so they might want it still decorated for church that morning.

I am planning on using the Christmas decorations as the majority of my ceremony decorations.

I have been a member at the church where I am getting married for almost 20 years so the decorating committee is taking into account what I would like when they start decorating for Christmas 🙂
