Not yet! I have my fall/Halloween decor up in early October & keep it up until just after Thanksgiving when I swap it out for Christmas.

Do you not a.) get tired of seeing your Christmas tree by the time december 25th arrives or b.)not even notice it anymore???

I have my lights outside up (not turned on yet–that won’t happen until at LEAST after Remembrance Day). Where I live, you’ll easily see snow and -30 before Christmas, so I figured I am NOT going on the roof when that comes, I’ll put them up now. Rest of the decorations won’t go up until mid to late November (my husband is a teacher so we usually do it around report cards).

I like to recognize one holiday at a time. In Canada we still have Remembrance Day on November 11. I think it is very important not to skip over honoring our veterans.

You must be Australian. It’s still October over here. 😛

We take down harvest decorations and put up Christmas decorations on Black Friday.

LaPetiote:  Right now I’m playing it off as a “Halloween Tree” 😋 I’ll probably switch it up for Christmas.

Aquaria:  For a second I was like “oh, she has one of those upside down tress I’m seeing all over the place” and then I realized if you did you attached it to the ceiling, and you’d have to hop to go through your door, and yeah ok the photo is upside down.  Me smart.

I normally put mine up November 25th then take it down maybe Boxing Day or the day after. This year I think I’ll be putting it up on the 24th, as I’m working late that day. As for decorations, I’m already sifting through last year’s and the year before’s, looking for blue and silver tinsel…something tells me I’ll need to buy it though.  I’m also digging out our portable lights, and checking the batteries to make sure they work. Christmas is my favourite time of year!

We put ours up December 1st and usually take them down boxing day.  Last year we left them up until new years day though and it was kinda nice 🙂

For now I will keep my Autumn wreath on the front door until Thanksgiving is over.  After T Day I will switch to my winter wreath and look into getting a Christmas tree.
