@theEguarantee:  +1000 that’s exactly what I was going to say. She will love it. Her parents won’t cause she’ll wear it everywhere, including the grocery store but too cute!

In my family, the standard gift is something small (like a book or a stuffed animal), and a savings bond!

My little sister is turning 4 in december so they are close to the same age. She loves anything to do with dogs since she can’t have one.

I agree with the dressing up, she loves to dress up as well! 🙂

@Lepidoptera:  I have a now-5 year old neice so 3.5 may be a little young for some of these, but she likes:

baby dolls

dress up stuff

Tutus (a PP mentioned it and she LOVES these!)

plastic tea set

@Lepidoptera:  Those suggestions might be a little girly for a dinosaur lover though 😉

Those plastic dinosaur toys are always awesome!

I have two 3ish year old neices, they are both getting: Clothes, Barbies, And a princess coloring book with their favorite charactors (Cinderella for one, Micky mouse for the other).

I’m going to suggest something not to buy- toys that make noise! Kids love them, but parents don’t! Lol. If she’s in to dinosaurs, why don’t you get her a dino onesie? I was going to buy one for my dino-loving son last year but never got round to it, they make them with tails and spikes down the back, I bet she’d love wearing it and pretending to eat people!
