I don’t have a pet sitter, but if I were your dog walker, I think I’d most appreciate cash or a gift card.

If you want something more personal, the basket is a good idea. Ideas: nuts, chips, pretzels, or candies; warm fuzzy socks; cute mug/travel mug; dog themed ornament.

I gave my dog walker a bottle of bailey’s last year. They are a couple who have their own buisness. But things that are helpful for dog owners (as you might know)- those lights that go on the collar for night time, the towells that dry quick and low calorie dog treats! Human things? Maybe some gloves or like pp said- socks, or local consumables- coffee, honey, snacks!

Gloves, scarf and hat if your dog walker walks in cold weather, or maybe a nice bottle of wine and chocolates?

I’m a dog sitter! I usually get something with my interests, here are some ideas:

-waterbottle with the brand/team they like

-dog related — socks, mug, bracelet, etc.

These are super cute:

-gift baskets are put together already if you don’t know what to do:

edible arrangements,

Best of luck 🙂

Cash in an envelope is the best, especially when most people are strapped for cash at Christmas time. I can get my own snacks.

I got my dog walker flip top wool mittens – she LOVED them! I have a pair of my own, and they really keep your hands warmer than regular gloves. Then when you have to pick up poop, the top flips open easily and the little velcro tab holds the top open. It’s way better than taking off the whole glove, and as mentioned, they’re super warm. If you get them, I recommend the velcro catch rather than a button/loop for easy use.
