The first Christmas I began dating my Fiance I got his mom a couple of nice scarves from Nordstrom. It was pretty funny actually, I approached a woman in his moms demographic and asked her for assitance picking out a gift. Last year I got a collection of podcasts on DVD and this year she’ll get a heated blanket. I’ve seen her wear the scarves on Facebook and she listens to the podcasts on long drive so I’d say success so far.

jamiee18:  candles never go a miss. Maybe buy an antique sort of holder/tray/ornament?

jamiee18:  You can’t go wrong with a nice Christmas ornament. There are lot’s of antique ones on etsy or ebay. Or for newer brands, Waterford and Lenox  make really nice quality ones.

Is she still looking for more antiques or is this just her decorating style? If she still enjoys the hunt for new items, does she have the following:
– a magnifier or jeweler’s loupe that she can carry in her purse

– a hand held black light

I agree with a suggestion from a pp. An antique or vintage Christmas ornament would likely work.

You could get her a pretty, antique brooch.
