Almost all my shopping is done aside from a few small things and stocking stuffers! I love buying gifts and think about what I will buy all year long. I will probably have all my wrapping done by December 1st too!

I usually start buying stuff in October (which is already here, where has the time gone?!). I’ve actually already purchased a gift for my parents’ dog haha. My dog “gives” a gift to their dog and vice versa ..ridiculous, I know, but it’s cute & hilarious! Anyway, I found the perfect collar for her!! I only have ideas for my husband though. I need to start feeling out my parents and siblings soon though!

I don’t usually start until after Thanksgiving, in the past I have ordered DH’s big present before that but nothing else until after Thanksgiving!

I buy for my mom, dad, sisters & BILs, and a neice and nephew. Darling Husband buys for his mom, dad, sister and brother because they spend more on eachother.. I plan on changing that this year though because we’re pregnant with twins and I think the amount his brother and sister expect to be spent on a gift is ridiculous!

October11th2014uk:  I’m in the US and I’m the same way! I love Christmas! I could see something in June and if I think it’s right for someone, I’ll save it for Christmas! 🙂 My best friend loves the beach (pearls) and glitter so I got her a car clip that was perfect. I got that last month lol. I start pretty early because I hate shopping in crowds and I fear seeing something perfect then it being sold out if I come back for it later, so I do it as early as I can.

My family is sort of big, so we don’t buy for everyone. If my whole family gets together there are 18 of us, and that’s not counting my husband’s family members, if those were included it would be more like 25 or 26. I usually get my mom, dad, and brother something. My husband, my best friend, and my Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law. So 7 individual gifts.

My side of the family is trying to save money, so we do secret santa (the adults each drawn one other adults name, and then each couple draws a kids name) so that’s 2 more gifts. We also do secret santa in our friend circle since we are all just starting out money wise. So 10 gifts in total I have to buy. 🙂 Much more manageable than 26 lol.

I start in the beginning of October, but I love black Friday… I’ll admit it! So I like to save my bigger gifts for the really good sales near the end of November, early December.

October11th2014uk:  MY Mother-In-Law starts Christmas shopping on Jan 1st. she loves to shop and spoil her son’s and DIL’s. I have already a few gifts (i pick up gifts randomly all year long)  and my Hubby is already finished my gifts as he had told he i’m not allowed in the Grey guest room (his hiding spot) and i told him he i not allowed in the closet of the Purple Guest room (my hiding spot) We have a limit for each other he said it’s 9 gifts this year. we have 3-4 gifts for his parents and my mom then 3 gifts for Brother-In-Law and SIL and we typically do a “couple” gift for Brother-In-Law and SIL. We live in the US (Florida). I usually finish all my shopping on Black friday weekend but get most of my gifts from Amazon!

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays i love wrapping gifts and making it pretty. Everyone has their own paper and last year i did plain brown kraft paper and stenciled the gift tags on the wrapping. I could wrap gifts for hours!

My bank has a “Christmas Club” savings account where you can only make deposits no withdrawls then on the 1st weekend of November they move the money into your checking or reg savings account for christmas money. I start the account every year in Feb when I get my Income tax refund I start by putting a couple hundred in there then every paycheck i’ll move $20 or so into the account.

Yeeeey I love that you started this thread!!! I started Christmas shopping over a month ago, and just ordered some more presents online just a minute ago. My Boyfriend or Best Friend thinks I’m ridiculous.
