I love yarn wreaths!! I made one over the summer, but I just took it down because it was a little too summery for the season.  I keep meaning to make one for the winter too!

@panterapeach: I’ve been saving wine corks for what feels like forever so I can make a wreath

I almost bought that grey one with the ornaments on etsy the other day… maybe I will get it.

@MissBoPeep: do you know about how long it took to make? I want to try to estimate so I can find time to make one

@MrsSl82be: It took me just over an hour, I think.  It would have gone much faster if I wasn’t fighting with my cat over who got to play with the yarn!

@MissBoPeep: nice!! I am going to head to Michael’s armed with coupons, and I plan buying everything I need for less than $10. I will take some pics as I progress. I am excited about this!!

@MrsSl82be: You can definitely get the supplies for under $10!  If I remember correctly I spent about $6 for the wreath form, $3 for the yarn, one skein was more than enough and I just got the cheapest yarn because it doesn’t really need to be soft for a wreath, and $.40 for each sheet of felt. I got 2 different colors to make the flowers for my wreath.  One of each color was more than enough! I had the hot glue already so I didn’t need to buy any.  🙂

@MissBoPeep: ok, so here is my question. Most of the flower tutorials I’ve seen show using Felt Tac…do you think I should get that or a glue gun? Cuz I’d have to buy the gun and sticks, I have no idea where mine is!!
