Hl ladies! Loving the support and community on this site. I’m hooked now and can’t stop. And I don’t want to!
I’ve been searching for the Christos gown Julianna to buy used for my wedding. However, I’m starting to see just how hard to find this dress really is. I’m not sure I have great chances of getting it used, not to mention used at a reasonable price.
This leads me to two questions:
1. Has anyone ordered a replica from a mail-order company (I’m pretty sure most of them are in China) like Coral’s Bridal or Lily’s Bridal? Any reviews or photos?
2. Are there any photos of a Julianna replica out there? I’ve been searching and searching and can’t find one. I think I would feel better about the idea if I could see that it had been done before, and that it was pretty!
Attached a couple of pictures of me in the gown after I finally chased it down to try it on (I had to special order just t try it on…and to pay!). I was giddy! Excuse my dorky hair and glasses, had to drive over two hours to get there. Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

I’m sure you could find a strapless dress by Maggie Sottero or another designer that’s similar and have the straps added.
As for ordering a dress online, you should do a search. There are many girls on WB that have gone that route to get their dress (including myself). I’m using IeIe Bridal, but I’ve generally heard good reviews for Milly Bridal, April Bridal, Monica Bridal, and Dressilyme.
There are 2 groups on Project Wedding that has girls who have shown their dresses from Milly Bridal http://www.projectwedding.com/groups/boards/milly-dress-brides
and Dressilyme http://www.projectwedding.com/groups/boards/dressilyme-dress-es

I love Dressilyme and think they can do an excellent job. Also Corals bridal and Milly’s have good reviews. I would be cautious about Jeff Liu because my previous dress with him was a disaster and I didn’t get a refund as promised.
Go with those that have sites. They seem to be the most legitamate.

Hey! It looks like this is a really old post, but I’m in the same boat you’re in; just in case you still need ideas, here’s what I’m doing—I went to Bridals by Lori in Atlanta JUST to try this dress on! I also toyed with the idea of going with Lilys Online Bridals. I asked her if she could show me the fabric she would use for the sleeves, since to me they are the focal point. I only recieved one email back…all it said was “sorry, we don’t have any pictures of this gown”. I emailed her back and asked if she had seen any material that would be similar or if she woudl hand-sew the details on the sleeves. That was 2 weeks ago—no response!
SO…this is my plan: I decided that the neckline on the Julianna was a little low or me (it looks awesome on you–I have a smaller chest so it kind of makes me look REALLY flat-chested) so I found a dress at Alfred Angelo’s bridal for FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS that has the bodice/neckline of the Christos Brisa (also an awesome dress). It’s a sweetheart neckline and has a long skirt and comes in ivory. http://www.alfredangelo.com/printable/dress.aspx?productID=7d8dc80a-35dc-47d4-b7de-bdef8df7c715&categoryID=32e5a88c-cbf1-498f-afcf-dbfca138c5d3&zipCode=
I found some close up pics of the sleeve onine, and my mom and I are making them. This is a picture of a replica of the sleeves that someone else already made:
This is a close up of the ACTUAL julianna sleeve that can be enlarged.
That is my plan of attack at this point. Hopefully it all works out. I hope you have a wonderful wedding!!!

One bride on here had a Christos Brisa replicated by a woman in Greece. It sounded like kind of a nightmare but in the end it all worked out. Not sure who it was but I’m sure you could hunt around!
