I know I have seen it in a thread recently – I think it is a great idea! I wore flat Betsey Johnson bridal sandals and paid $100 for them. I should have/could have saved the money and worn my regular flip flips as nobody could see my shoes!

I love tbat look! There’s a few etsy shops that sell sequin chucks and vans. Planning on wearing them for the reception πŸ™‚

I wore my raggedy, well loved chucks. No one knew, but out pictures turned out so cute with them showing. I was comfy, happy and it made me feel like ME.

I know it’s uber trendy right now, but that’s totally what I’m wearing. πŸ™‚ For our own reasons, though! All my Fiance wears are Chucks… I even found him black patent ones to wear with his tux on our cruise last year, and those are what he’s going to wear for the wedding. I love him in his Chucks.

For our ceremony venue, no heels at all can be worn, so I was going to just wear flats. Then I saw pics of other brides wearing Chucks and that was perfect!! So these are going to be mine, complete with the Mickey’s πŸ™‚ :

But with these white organza laces:

It’ll be perfect. Pink is my favorite color in the whole world, and Chucks are so him — it’s us, combined perfectly. πŸ˜€  And I’m not telling him — I’ve told our photographer about it and she’s going to snap his face when I show them to him that day. πŸ™‚

Not chucks but after the ceremony I ditched the heels for my cheap target sandals, best decision of the day. Save your feet, they will only see the shoes when you are dancing

No just no! It hurts. You can wear them all the time, but when will you ever wear pretty heels if even for your wedding you decide to be casual. Sorry :/

A friend of mine wore bright blue chucks for the reception and her husband wore black ones.  They had them personalized with their new last name on the back. Super cute!  I changed into Toms for my reception.  Best decision ever!

I’m not overly a fan of this anymore either to be honest. I thought it was really cute when it was new but it’s been overdone. Why not find some cute/quirky ballet flats or low heels?

An acquantance of mine wore white high top ones and it looked great; she lives in them. I wouldn’t wear them if you’re just doing it because it looks cool, I would do it if you always normally wore them. I think if you don’t want to wear heels then sandals are better, but at the end of the day if you love ’em then why not, it’s your day!

If you wanna do it, I say go for it! πŸ™‚

I’ma have to wear flats too (BF and I are same height) — and if you want to make them “your own style” by wearing chucks — by all means, rock ’em!
