- Wedding: May 2016 - Home, sweet home
Me and the groom will be wearing matching navy blue chucks. I really don’t care about wearing pretty or dressy shoes. I NEED to be comfortable If not, I’ll be unhappy all day and I refuse to feel like that on my wedding day
My sister changed her heels for white chucks after dinner. I thought it was super cute and am definitely considering doing the same thing! 🙂
Im having custom Nikes made. So not chucks, but there’s no way in hell in wearing heels. I don’t see what the big deals is? I doubt many people would even notice. I’ll be showing mine off because Nikes are personal to us and people are pretty much expecting that from us lol. We’re getting married in Hawaii so these fit the theme and our colors!
I wore sandals but only because I live in LA where it’s flippin hot ALL THE TIME otherwise I would’ve worn chucks, so I say do it!!
But I’m definitely biased, I DESPISE heels and I used to wear my docs with everything, for my university graduation I wore docs with a vintage victorian dress with leg o’mutton sleeves.
ROCK THE CHUCKS!!!!!
Suuuuuuuuper common. Offbeat Bride has it front page A LOT.
I wore heels – I love heels. However as soon as everything was done and dusted, I took them off and went around barefoot all night. Noone even knew until they got closer and realised I wasn’t as tall anymore haha!
If you wear them all the time, go for it. If you’re doing it “cause it’s quirky and cute”, find something else.
I plan on wearing these babies underneath my lace gown 🙂
I wore Converse for my wedding shoes. I picked out heels at first, but the discomfort just seemed stupid, considering no one can see your shoes anyway.
And for those who purchase high-end, VERY expensive designer shoes for their wedding? Just idiotic, especially if you’re wearing a full-length skirt. Don’t pull up your skirt like a tramp, and no one will know what your shoes look like.
