Maybe you could do candles up the sides of the aisle? Like put them in one of those glass cylinders. You could do pillar candles, or you could fill them up like 3/4 with water and do floating candles.

and maybe scattered rose petals down the aisle or scatter them along the sides of the aisle… a lot of churches don’t allow real petals though, so you could always do silk.

I vote for the pomanders because I love them and think they are adorable and wish I had a good place to include them in my wedding!  I also love pomanders made with ribbon, a’ la Miss Pencil’s post here.
