I already decided to make tissue paper pomanders for pew decorations for the church. I have about 12, which would be 6 on each side of the church. The church has 25 pews on each side and I wanted something to decorate the all the pews. Would I do better making pomanders for each pew or would that be too much? Or would it look ok if I draped the pews with organza or tulle then spaced the pomanders out so they covered most of the pews? Any help would be appreciated, I just don’t want the church to look kind of empty. Thanks bees!

I’d space out the pomanders, and then you could use organza to add detail to the others. Or even if you didn’t want to organza, I’d still space out the pomanders. 🙂

I’d say space the pomanders and use tulle over organza…The only reason I say that, is because I KNOW tulle is a lot more inexpensive than organza (like 1/4 of the price)!

personally I like the idea of pomanders only or tulle only.

I would either put pomanders on every other pew OR put a pomander on every pew, but only, say, the first 6-8 pews (or however many pews you think).

@MmeSilverBullet:Thanks, I was looking up organza and the price of it for the yards I want is crazy.

@tinkaluv: For sure, Where I work, you can get it on sale for 77 cents a yard…or use a coupon on the entire cut it.
