Hi, I am working with my Future Mother-In-Law on the invitations for the rehearsal dinner and I am stuck on whether to include a line about the actual church rehearsal? I have seen it both ways and am leaning to include it – a reminder of the time in writing never hurts in my opinion 🙂 We are having a very intimate rehearsal dinner everyone at the dinner is also IN the wedding rehearsal at the church. I just can’t seem to find a phrase that I like … "Wedding rehearsal will be at Church Name at 6:00pm" – just doesn’t look right to me? – suggestions please!

Are you doing separate invitations for the actual REHEARSAL? I am working on my rehearsal dinner invitations, and I am not including anything about the rehearsal itself, because the invites are just for the dinner. We have a lot of family and out of town guests that will be coming to the dinner.
For those IN my wedding party and for our parents, I will tell them to be at the church earlier, but I’m not putting that on the dinner invite. I don’t want all of rehearsal dinner guests to show up at the church just to watch me practice walking down the aisle! 😉

Does anyone else have a suggestion?

I put the rehearsal info on the dinner invite. It was like this:
You are invited to a
at [Restuarant & Address]
Following a Ceremony Reharsal at [Time]
at [Church Address]

I LOVE the wording Snmcdowell recommended. It’s bookmarked in my wedding file 🙂 thanks!
