Picking songs is so hard, but we are so excited with our choices. I’m walking down the aisle to Pachelbel Canon in D (unoriginal I know, but it has special meaning to me). Then our pastor gave us the suggestion to check out Canon Rock- youtube it, there are a few versions, but we love the ‘funtwo’ one. It ties in withthe processional, but has the celebration vibe to it!

Hmm… I’m thinking of having our processional song be an instrumental version of Sting’s “Fields of Gold,” it might work for a recessional? If you’d be into an instrumental cover (and haven’t already found them), check out the Vitamin String Quartet (samples of their music are on Amazon). They cover a bunch of songs that are very recognizable, and they have an entire Beatles album.

We opted for very modern.. I don’t like old style type music at all. However, we didn’t want them to be so harsh, so we are going with piano versions [no vocals].

prelude : hanging by a moment : lifehouse [this is me and fi’s song]

processional : all or nothing – theory of a dead man

bridal processional : truly madly deepy – savage garden

recessional : you & me – lifehouse

All of these songs can be heard on our wedding website, in the order they are to be played.
