Amazing! What a fun, elegant, and unique addition to the festivities!

Neither here nor there with it, I wouldn't be interested but it wouldn't bother me

Yuck! I just spent an hour getting dressed up so that I can smell like smoke and cough all night?

None of the above, see my post below for details

Sounds like you’re already thinking along the right track… cocktail hour… set up in an outside area. Naturally, it would be a huge hit with the men. But hey, I’D go for it, too! I love a good cigar!!! I’d also talk to the vendor you decide to go with… yes, the freshly rolled cigars aren’t great for smoking, but would make nice favors… plus it’s super cool to watch. But I’m sure you can ask him to have pre-made options on hand so your guests can enjoy them there. I’d say DO IT!

I don’t smokey cigars, but I know Mr. Bee and his friends would def love something like that!  It’ll be a big hit if you have a cigar smoking crowd.

i wuold love to include this at our reception, we just don’t have the money and it doesn’t exactly fit our style.  I think it’s a really neat idea!

This was actually the first suggestions I got from my FH – Which is funny, because I am the Cuban portion of the couple & people assume it was my idea. It was his (he’s a Texas boy) but loves Cuban cigars & enjoys them once in a while, since a lot of his clients gift him boxes of them. We are having an adult only wedding – so I dont have to worry about kids. But I am doing it in a sidee portion of the outside courtyard which is our cocktail area & lounge area buit just a bit too the side – so it wont bother all those who dont like it. I grow up with it – since my grandfather has always smoked cigars. I think its elegent however make sure you place it in the right place so that the smell doesnt smoke up your reception venue like we are doing.

If you live in Miami I can send you some info on Sosa Cigar – its $325 for three hours – 75 cigars and taxes & roller included. Its also my parents gift to us since we’re funding the wedding 🙂

Outside and no one that is badly affected by smoke? Great! See this all the time on Platinum Weddings on WE TV!
