We went to a bunch of shows when we were there for our engagement trip (cirque love, la reve, that slightly racy cirque show -forget the name) and I know for at least one of them, my fiancé got the tickets as part of our hotel package. Where are you staying? I know most of the MGM resorts will have things like “stay 3 nights, get 2 comp tix to cirque du soleil etc”. I would check Expedia and other travel sites and if you’ve booked your hotel already, call the hotel and see if they’ll include tix in your res.

“O” is the most expensive show and usually doesn’t go on discount; it’s actually usually sold out from MGM and you get to pay broker prices. $320 for the pair sounds right. Ka is usually available walk-up; if you’re staying at a MGM property they can/will sometimes get you a good discount at the box office. Mystere and Zumanity are always on discount at the host hotel box office on walk-up. Try booking direct via the host hotel concierge for O, you might save a bit over the broker prices; try the hotel website for the rest. The brokers don’t usually represent a good value on Cirque shows— they are great for other shows though— so your best bet will be booking direct and looking for show-plus-room or show-plus-dinner packages.

ETA: The Venetian is not an MGM hotel so their in-house concierge won’t be able to help too much with those shows. Can you stay one night at a MGM property?

I saw “O” a couple of years ago and we sat in the front row, the seats were actually WAY cheaper because you could get splashed. They gave us towels but we never got wet!

That’s so exciting!! I love the Venetian – one of my favorite hotels in Vegas 🙂 I would give them a call and just let them know you’ve booked your honeymoon (are you staying in a suite?) and you had heard there was a possibilty of free show tix with your res and you were wondering what the deals are when you’ll be there. I just asked my Fiance how we got our free tix and he said it was just a deal he found on Expedia. Since you’ve already booked, calling the Venetian might be your best option.

Also, do yourself a favor and please have dinner at Bouchon at the Venetian one night. One of the best places in Vegas (it’s a Thomas Keller restaraunt). Good luck!

@ticatica:  Those prices sound fair.  We just saw Mystere a couple weeks ago which is the least expensive and it was good, but there really is a big difference between the quality of their shows (imo).  We saw mistakes happen a few times in Mystere that we haven’t seen in some of their more highly rated (and therefore more expensive) shows.  O is by far my favorite!!!  I personally have to recommend it if you’re only going to get to see one of their shows  =o)
