I think that’s perfect. I am wearing a knee-length black lace dress with a purple lining and a sweetheart neckline. I was a little sad about not going with something more bridal, but I decided it was best to buy a dress that I could wear again.

I’m considering a low, messy bun with purple crystal barrettes or pins. I’m going to wear dangly earrings but no other jewelry. I also bought sexy underwear and thigh-highs. I’m still trying to follow the something old/something new/etc rule. My something blue will be on my garter.

Fiance is wearing black dress pants, a white dress shirt, and a purple tie to match the lining of my dress.

Serey:  Your dress is beautiful and I love the look with the birdcage veil.

For my courthouse wedding I wore a one shoulder ivory dress with lace on the bosom and  ruching over the stomach.  I bought matching shoes for the occassion and wore the Tiffany bracelet hubby gave me for our first V-day.

Serey:  I LOVE this look. I would add a pair of striking stud earrings (maybe aquamarine or emerald). I think you’ll look gorgeous in this, the dress is so lovely (with a touch of vintage) and so flattering. Do you know what shoes you will add? That’s a nice advantage of a short dress!

Serey:  I think it’s darling!  Be sure to order it in advance and see if they have returns.  You might find it’s too high wasted or even too short.  I found that with a lot of dresses these days.
